Road, Ghaziabad, has grown — through partnership, quality discipline, and relentless customer focus — into one of India's most respected diesel generator manufacturers.
1979
The Beginning
Rishabh Engineering Company is founded in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, by a team of passionate engineers with a vision to make reliable power accessible across India. Operations begin from a modest workshop on G.T. Road.
1985
First Major Industrial Contracts
The company secures its first large-scale contracts supplying diesel generators to industrial clients across the NCR region, establishing a reputation for on-time delivery and after-sales reliability.
1992
Manufacturing Scale-Up
Investment in a dedicated manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad. The expanded plant introduces in-house assembly lines, quality-testing bays, and a larger service team — tripling production capacity.
1998
Tata Motors GOEM Partnership
A landmark milestone: Rishabh is appointed a Generator Original Equipment Manufacturer (GOEM) for Tata Motors, gaining access to Tata's proven engine platform to build the 20–125 kVA range. This partnership is the bedrock of our quality credentials.
2005
Cooper Corporation Partnership
A second GOEM agreement is signed with Cooper Corporation for the 140–250 kVA segment — broadening the product portfolio and enabling Rishabh to serve mid-range industrial and commercial customers with superior fuel efficiency.
2010
Sterling / Baudouin Partnership
Rishabh partners with Sterling and Baudouin to manufacture the 200–1500 kVA heavy-duty range, opening doors to large infrastructure projects, data centres, and government tenders across India.
2015
ISO 9001:2015 Certification
QRO Certification LLP (EGAC accredited, IAF member) awards Rishabh the ISO 9001:2015 certification covering manufacturing, trading, supply, and installation of diesel and gas engines, generators, alternators (2.5–3000 kVA), control panels, acoustic enclosures, and related products.
2018
ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Certification
Rishabh achieves ISO 14001:2015 certification — demonstrating a formal Environmental Management System and commitment to fuel efficiency, emission reduction, and responsible manufacturing practices.
2020
CPCB-IV+ Compliance
All generator sets are upgraded and certified compliant with Central Pollution Control Board Stage-IV+ (CPCB-IV+) emission norms — among the strictest standards in India — ahead of the regulatory deadline.
2022
Export Markets & Digital Transformation
Rishabh expands exports to Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Saudi Arabia. Simultaneously, the company invests in a digital infrastructure overhaul — online enquiry management, a customer portal, and end-to-end service tracking.
